On Sunday 14th April Chairman of Open Religious Policy Forum Sven Speer will give a speech at the Internationalen Akademie für Führungskräfte (IAF) of the Friedrich-Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit in Gummersbach. The participants of the IAF come from e.g. Russia, China, India and Malaysia. The topic of Speer’s speech will be „Isolation or constructive engagement? What kind of relationship between religion and the state does the FDP want today?“. In his presentation Speer is going to describe the current development in the FDP about the opinion on the relationship between goverment and church or accordingly government and religion. The religious policies of the FDP are well known to Speer, being a member for 12 years, as he has also been a member of the national committee for church, religion and idelogical communities of the FDP for five years.
